Accessibility statement

Version 1.0 · Adopted 30 June 2026 · Assessment date: 2 July 2026

1. Legal framework

The Dutch Accessibility of Products and Services Act (WTPD) implements the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882/EU) in the Netherlands. From 28 June 2025, commercial providers of digital services — including webshops and ticket platforms — are required to make their services accessible to people with disabilities. Supervision of e-commerce services rests with the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (Autoriteit Consument & Markt, ACM).

2. Reference standard

This platform aims to comply with WCAG 2.2 level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2), as applicable via the harmonised European standard EN 301 549.

3. Conformance status per WCAG guideline

The table below indicates the conformance status for each WCAG 2.2 guideline, based on the assessment of 2 July 2026 (an automated audit with Lighthouse — accessibility score 100 — supplemented by manual checks of the purchase flow).

4. Findings and resolved items

During the assessment of 2 July 2026 the previously identified issues were resolved:

  • Text alternatives (1.1): images in the ordering flow have alt text.
  • Colour contrast (1.4): text contrast was increased and now meets the 4.5:1 ratio.
  • Page structure (1.3 / 2.4): a page heading (h1) was added; landmarks and focus order are correct.

Remaining item: payment takes place on Adyen’s external payment page, whose accessibility is partly outside our control. A full, independent manual audit (including a screen-reader test) is planned before 31 December 2026.

5. Timeline for improvement

We aim to resolve any remaining issues and complete a full manual audit before 31 December 2026. This statement is updated on every material change or after a periodic reassessment (at least annually).
